Blink and you will miss it. Alor is a spot on Indonesia’s map of 17,000 islands, but has risen to international prominence within the diving community because of its world-class diving.Situated east of Flores and just north of Timor between the Flores and Savu seas, Alor is often packaged with Pantar island and a few lessor islands when the area is being discussed as a diving destination.

There are approximately 33 documented dive sites around Alor and Pantar, each with their own unique feature and popularity among diving enthusiasts. Consistently rated as a “must do” dive destination by the world’s leading publications, Alor is recognized as a benchmark of marine preservation an eco-tourism destination – the marine life have benefited greatly from this.

Underwater photographers and filmmakers have the chance to see virtually every type of marine life imaginable in tropical waters. From amazing muck dives at Alor Kalabahe Bay & Beangabang of Pantar, to the valleys of Anemone at Pura and an impressive drop-off of Buaya and Ternate, your next great photo is ready to be taken.
